About

An independent, local alternative to enterprise IT.

Wolfson IT Services is run by one person — Kyle Wolfson — because small businesses and individuals deserve the same level of technical care as large companies, without the overhead or the sales process that usually comes with it.

Independent & local

One person, start to finish

There's no ticket queue, no tiered support levels, and no hand-off between departments. The person who answers your request is the same person who diagnoses the problem, does the work, and follows up afterward.

How I work

Practical recommendations, explained plainly

I size recommendations to your actual budget and risk — not a vendor's product catalog. You'll get plain-language explanations of what's going on and why, without being made to feel like you should have already known.Kyle Wolfson
Background

Hands-on experience, not just theory

Long before any of this was a job title, I was the person friends and family called when their computer started doing something strange. Some things don't really change.

Professionally, I work in IT support — troubleshooting Windows and business endpoints, administering Active Directory and Google Workspace, deploying and setting up workstations, managing user accounts through onboarding and offboarding, tracking down network and Wi-Fi problems, and supporting the everyday business applications people actually rely on.

I've also spent plenty of time on the more physical side of the work: diagnosing hardware problems, doing upgrades, and being comfortable with a computer opened up on the desk in front of me. That combination — hands-on with hardware, and comfortable with the accounts and systems side — is a big part of what Wolfson IT Services offers.

I hold a CompTIA A+ certification and an Associate's degree in Business Administration, and I'm currently working toward a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology. Wolfson IT Services is where I apply all of that directly, for people and businesses who could use the help without going through a large company to get it.

I enjoy solving practical technology problems, whatever form they take — fixing one computer, improving how a small business's technology works day to day, building something new, or figuring out how several pieces of technology should work together. Versatility and a willingness to figure things out matter more here than knowing every product on the market.
